BNB and BTC in Kyrgyzstan’s Treasury? CZ’s Bold Crypto Vision Explained

Changpeng Zhao, better known as CZ, the founder and former CEO of Binance, has revealed he is collaborating closely with the Kyrgyz government to help shape the Central Asian nation’s national cryptocurrency strategy. Binance Executive CZ announced his collaboration with the Kyrgyz President on May 5 through social network X following two days of meetings at Issyk-Kul Lake. Zhao stated : “Among other things, also gave my advice to make BNB and BTC as the two starting crypto for the national crypto reserve.” Zhao Joins Kyrgyzstan’s National Crypto Council Binance continues to establish global business stages while targeting new financial markets. On May 4 Zhao declared Binance’s partnership with Kyrgyzstan to teach blockchain and implement crypto payments across the national economy. He became an official member of Ukraine’s National Crypto Council when President Japarov extended him an invitation. Zhao wrote in an earlier post: “Honored to be invited by Mr. President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan to join the National Crypto Council. Also learned so much about the unique cultures of Kyrgyzstan. During the talk we showcased Kyrgyzstan’s digital business growth opportunities while showing off our rich cultural heritage. Zhao’s counsel extends beyond Kyrgyzstan. At the end of April, he disclosed Binance’s guidance to non-European countries on building crypto reserves. Public officials in Europe do not have a role in these talks. According to him, the world map shows blank areas where nations have yet to develop their potential. BNB Powers Binance and DeFi Transactions In response to the Kyrgyz government, Zhao suggested they create a national crypto reserve backed by Bitcoin (BTC) and Binance Coin (BNB). Many see Bitcoin as financial security because the system runs independently of centralized control and has a set supply limit that fights rising prices. As Binance’s core digital asset BNB functions in multiple ways to bolster the exchange’s operations. Currently BNB trades near $606 and Bitcoin is currently trading at $96,544. Boasting 64% of all BNB tokens currently in circulation Zhao possesses 94 million BNB tokens valued at $55 billion. Kyrgyzstan Explores Gold-Backed National Stablecoin Zhao joins this effort as Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Finance studies making a stablecoin backed by gold reserves amounting to $500 million. Although the ministry has not publicly revealed the project yet it demonstrates solid progress toward using digital assets in national financial systems. Although sweeping legal challenges affect digital currency nationwide, Kyrgyzstan turns to Zhao’s expertise to shape its cryptocurrency adoption. The decentralized finance community thinks these partnerships will help regions leap ahead in digital technology,y even when they cannot use traditional money systems.
