Polymarket "WTI crude oil will reach $120 in 2026" probability surged briefly, with the probability rising to 65%, up 10% in 1 hour and 25% in 24 hours. The event contract rules are: if at any 1-minute candlestick during the 2026 period the "highest price" of the active month of WTI crude oil futures is equal to or higher than the listing price, then the market will be determined as "yes"; otherwise, the market will be determined as "no"; whereas the previous WTI crude oil March price prediction event contract rules were: if the official settlement price of the current active month (near month) of crude oil futures contracts on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange is equal to or higher than the listing price as of the last trading day in 2026, then the market will be determined as "yes"; otherwise, the market will be determined as "no".

According to ChainCatcher, Polymarket will continue to monitor the prediction market and observe changes before pricing.
